9 Safety Instructions for Works on the Airbag
Work on the Airb ag system has to be executed exclusively by especially traine d
qualified personnel.
Notes for wor k on Airbag sys t em:
• Remove the ignition key and disc onn ec t t he batt e ry.
• Wait at least 5 minutes. Only then you can work on the Air bag syst em .
• Discharge yourself before you work on an Ai r bag uni t by touching the latch of the door.
• Airbag units which have been removed are al ways put down face up.
• During the works on the Airbag system you have to be very carefull.
• Additionally, the safety not es of the corr es ponding manufacturer are valid.
