Instructions for sticking the magnetic tape
Sticking tape to a machine
The laminated tape must be stuck to a clean, dry and flat surface. A typical solvent for cleaning
the machine surface is 50/50 Isopropyl alcohol/water mixture or heptane. (Important: please take
notice of manufacturer’s precautions about contact with solvents). On materials such as copper,
brass etc, ensure that the surface is clear of any oxidation patina.
Application to a surface
Adhesion takes place directly on contact of the adhesive to the surface. Apply pressure to attain
best results.
Adhesion temperature
The best adhesion temperature is in the range +21° to 38°C. If the surface is 11°C or less, the
adhesive will be too hard and inadequate bonding will take place. With correct application, the
bond is thereafter secure down to minus temperatures. The bond will be fully effective 72 hours
after application (at 21°C).
