Remove the front brake linings. x ( p. 93)
– Move the brake fluid reservoir mounted on the handlebar to a horizontal position.
– Remove screws .
– Remove cover  with membrane .
– Press the brake piston back to its basic position and make sure that no brake fluid over-
flows from the brake fluid reservoir.

Install the front brake linings. x ( p. 94)

– Add brake fluid level to .

Measurement of  5 mm (0.2 in)
Brake fluid DOT 4 / DOT 5.1 ( p. 181)
– Position the cover with the membrane. Mount and tighten the screws.

Clean up overflowed or spilt brake fluid immediately with water.
