Remove screws and take off the lens.
Press the bulb carefully into the holder, turn it about 30° counterclockwise and
remove it from the holder.

Do not touch the reflector with your fingers and try to avoid contact with oil or
grease.
Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.
Insert a new bulb and turn it clockwise as far as possible.
Brake/tail light (P21/5W / socket BAY15d) ( p. 173)
Check the function of the rear lamp and the brake light.
Check that the seal is correctly seated. Position the lens.
Insert the screws and turn them first counterclockwise until you feel them click into the
thread. Tighten the screws slightly.

Damage to reflectorReduced luminance.
Grease on the lamp will evaporate due to the heat and be deposited on the reflector. Clean the lamp and keep it free of grease before
mounting.
