– Remove screws and take off the lens.
– Press the bulb carefully into the holder, turn it about 30° counterclockwise and
remove it from the holder.

Do not touch the reflector with your fingers and try to avoid contact with oil or
grease.
– Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.
– Insert a new bulb and turn it clockwise as far as possible.
Brake/tail light (P21/5W / socket BAY15d) ( p. 173)
– Check the function of the rear lamp and the brake light.
– Check that the seal is correctly seated. Position the lens.
– Insert the screws and turn them first counterclockwise until you feel them click into the
thread. Tighten the screws slightly.

Note
Damage to reflector Reduced luminance.
– Grease on the lamp will evaporate due to the heat and be deposited on the reflector. Clean the lamp and keep it free of grease before
mounting.
