Cook until "Ready" light is on and signal sounds. Transfer cooked wafes to cooling rack
to keep warm while cooking rest of wafes and cooking sausages and eggs.
Meanwhile, cook sausages as directed on package. Keep warm.
For over easy eggs, melt butter in large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Carefully
break eggs into skillet. Cook until whites are nearly set. Carefully turn over; cover skillet
and cook until desired doneness.
To make sandwiches, sprinkle remaining cheese on 4 of the wafes. Place 2 sausage
patties and 1 egg on remaining 4 wafes. Place wafes with cheese over eggs, cheese
side down. Serve as is, or offer syrup, mustard, ketchup or mayonnaise as a dipping sauce.
Tip: In place of frozen sausage patties, you can make 4 (2-ounce) 4-inch patties using bulk
breakfast sausage and cook in skillet until thoroughly cooked. Place in oven with wafes to
keep warm. Eggs can be cooked any way you like - sunny side up or scrambled.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problems Possible solutions
No indicator light on. Check the connection to the wall socket.
If the problem persists try connecting the unit to a different
outlet.
The ready indicator light
is off.
The ready indicator light switches on when the appliance
reaches the selected temperature, this can take 6 to 10
minutes.
Check that there are no obstructions when you close the unit.
Wafes are sticking to
the plates.
Be sure to use an oil or non-stick spray before making
wafes.
Make sure you clean your plates after making wafes. Failing
to clean your plates, can negatively impact the non-stick
coating.
The wafes are not
cooked properly.
Ensure that the ready indicator light is on when you add the
batter.
Once the batter is in the wafe maker, cook the wafes for
3 to 8 minutes, avoid opening the wafe maker too often
because the heat escapes every time you open the appliance
and this increases cooking time.
Put the browning selector on the maximum position (position
5) if this is not already the case.
