KEY RECIPE COMMENTARY
CHOPPING ICE For finely crusher ice, use only 6 to 10 large ice cubes
(level 1/3 L).
GARAM MASALA Put all the ingredients into the beaker and mix to the

TOMATO SAUCE OR Put all the ingredients, liquids first, into the beaker. The
TOMATO COULIS quantity prepared should be at least enough to cover
the knife blade, so as to avoid splashing.
VEGETABLE PUREES Put the cooked vegetables with a little of the cooking
water into the beaker and mix to the required
consistency.
If the material is very stiff, mix using the “Vari Pulse”
momentary action function. If necessary, interrupt the
work to push the foodstuff towards the knife blade with
a spatula. Due to the extremely fine results achieved
by mixers, they are NOT suitable for preparing mashed
potatoes.
VEGETABLE Put the ingredients, liquids first, into the beaker and
STUFFINGS mix to the required consistency. If the material is very
stiff, mix using the “Vari Pulse” momentary action
function. If necessary, interrupt the work to push the
foodstuff towards the knife blade with a spatula.
PARMESAN AND Cut the cheese into large cubes and
HARD CHEESES chop it to the desired condition. Start with several
momentary “Vari Pulse” treatments until the cheese is
coarsely chopped.
