1 Mechanical installation
1.1 Handling and storage
Caution :
The probe is a critical gauge component.
Do not damage– Handle with care!!!
1.1.1 Avoiding blows
Avoid hard blows, impacts and jolts when handling the BM100A.
Caution : fragile electronics
1.1.2 Avoiding bending
Rod/ Coaxial probes: support the probe to avoid bending.

1.1.3 Avoiding cable kinks or fraying
Do not coil the cable less than 400 mm / 16’’ in diameter. Cable kinks or fraying will cause
measurement errors.
