1.1 Duties of the operator:
The operator of the working scaffold is responsible for the following
This installation and user manual must be referred to each time the scaffold is instal-
led, modified or dismantled.
All persons using the working scaffold must be familiar with the safety instructions
and warnings in this manual, and must at all times strictly adhere to all instructions
and regulations.
All national and other applicable statutory regulations for the use of scaffolds must
be adhered to.
The working scaffold may only be used for the purpose for which it is intended.
All documents (regulations, standards, guidelines, laws, etc.) for safe handling of the
product referred to in this installation and user manual must be strictly adhered to.
1. General
This document describes the correct assembly, erection and dismantling of mobile
aluminium scaffolds of the ProTec system. It contains important safety instructions.
Carefully read all instructions in this document and familiarise yourself with the relevant
safety regulati-ons.
ProTec is a modular system for which a range of optional accessories are available. All
available modules, including optional modules, are described in this manual. Some of
these modules might not be part of your system.
For certain uses, the system must be equipped with additional parts (e.g. ballasts) to
ensure safety. In order to enable you to decide whether you require such auxiliary parts,
please read all chapters of the manual.
If you have any questions regarding the assembly, use or dismantling of the working
scaffold, please contact your supplier.
We reserve the right to make technical modifications to the mobile scaffold.
