3 Overview
The Kramer 123Vxl Differential Video Line Amplifier is a high-
performance line amplifier for composite or SDI video signals. It splits an
input source to 3 identical outputs and includes controls and circuitry to
compensate for signal losses and noise inherent in long cable runs.
In particular, the 123Vxl features:
 Special differential amplifying circuitry that eliminates common
mode noise and hum problems commonly found in long video
lines, almost completely isolating the input from the outputs
 High bandwidth of 425MHz (-3dB)
 Gain and equalization trimmer controls to compensate for signal
losses inherent in long cable runs
 A Kramer TOOLS enclosure and 12V DC supply voltage
To achieve the best performance:
 Use only good quality connection cables

to avoid interference,
deterioration in signal quality due to poor matching, and elevated
noise levels (often associated with low quality cables).
 Avoid interference from neighboring electrical appliances that
may adversely influence signal quality and position your Kramer
123Vxl away from moisture, excessive sunlight and dust
Caution – No operator-serviceable parts inside unit.
Warning – Use only the Kramer Electronics input power
wall adapter that is provided with this unit
