There s no substtute for muzzle control. Never rely on any mechancal safety. Always pont
the gun n a safe drecton. The safety s located n front of the trgger (see fig. K-1). The
safety s “ON” when the lever s n the rear poston (near the trgger). To release the trgger,
move the lever to the forward poston (away from the trgger). Always put the safety “ON”
when handlng, carryng, loadng or unloadng the ar gun. Do not press the trgger whle
puttng the safety “ON”.
Make sure the airgun is “ON SAFE”. With one hand grasp the top of the rear stock Armly,
avoid contact with the trigger, and brace the butt end of the tock against your thigh. Grasp the
barrel near the muzzle end, just behind the front sight. Pull downward and to the rear until it
comes to a solid stop. You the piston action has been engaged. Do not let go of the barrel.
WARNING : When cocking the air rifle do not place your hand over
or in front of the muzzle. Never allow the muzzle to point toward you
or anyone else during cocking. Always keep the muzzle pointed in a
safe direction.

BE SURE THE AIRGUN IS ALWAYS POINTED IN A SAFE
DIRECTION. NEVER POINT THE AIRGUN AT ANYONE
EVEN IF IT IS UNLOADED. ALWAYS ASSUME AND HANDLE THE AIRGUN AS IF IT
WERE LOADED AND READY TO FIRE.
