Danger of life!
Never immerse the appliance into water or other fluids, and avoid the direct contact
to fluids.
Always make sure the appliance is disconnected from the mains (5). In the case of hav-
ing accidentally immersed the appliance into water, do not put your hands in the water!

Blades of rotating parts are very sharp! Danger of injuries!
Never touch the rotating parts of the stick blender while using the appliance. Always
wait for the blades to stop rotating. Be careful, when cleaning the blades. The blades
are very sharp. Danger of injuries!

Danger of serious burns caused by hot splatters!
Never use any boiling liquids when using the appliance. Danger of serious burns!
Important information!
Install the blender shaft (including the blades) (4) on the motor unit (1) and turn
the shaft into the prescribed direction (bayonet connector) until it locks and clicks.
Place the stick blender into the container with the food which is to be mixed and
push the On/Off button (2).
Pay attention that any container used is only 2/3 full.

Before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the mains (5)!
Take the blender shaft (4) off the motor unit (1) by turning it against the prescribed
direction, and clean it, by hand, in dishwashing detergent water. Do not use any ag-
gressive cleaning agents!
Foods, like carrots or beetroot, might cause staining on the housing of the stick blender.
Before cleaning these stains with dishwashing detergent, you should pretreat the stains
with vegetable oil.
The stick blender is perfect for mixing carrots, potatoes or similar foods. Furthermore,
the appliance can be used for preparing dips, sauces, soups, mayonnaise or baby
foods, as well as mixing drinks and milk shakes.
