Effects
Brilliance
This eect changes the brightness of the tone.
TheseingcanbechangedbyholdingdowntheBRILLIANCEbuonand
pressingtheUPorDOWNbuonbesidethedisplay.
The seing appears in the display with 3 producing a brighter sound and 1 pro-
ducing a less bright sound.
The same seing is applied to all sounds and remains applied until the SP-280
is turned o. When the instrument is turned on, the default seing 2 is selected.
Brilliance cannot be turned o.
Reverb
This eect adds ambience and depth to the sound, producing the sense of per-
forming in a concert hall. As a factory default, the on/o seing for this eect as
well as this eect’s seing are saved with each sound.

Tochangethisseing,holddowntheREVERBbuonandpresstheUPor
DOWNbuonbesidethedisplay.
The seing appears in the display with 3 producing a deep reverb eect and 1
producing a light reverb eect.
If a dierent sound is selected or if the SP-280 is turned o, the on/o seing for
this eect as well as this eect’s seing return to their factory defaults (default
seings).
Chorus
Chorus adds modulation to the sound, producing an expansively rich sound.
As a factory default, the on/o seing for this eect as well as this eect’s set-
ting are saved with each sound.
