When “MODE” is set to FLTR FM (Filter FM)
In Filter FM, the oscillator signal is used as audio input for the lter. e cuto frequency is modulat-
ed using the input signals from the modulator(s). Depending on the cuto and lter type settings,
this may not have any eect, as the sound outputted from the oscillator may not pass through the
lter.
e variations in sound are easier to understand if you set the WAVE parameter to SAW and then
change the lter type.
TYPE (Filter Type)
Sets the type of lter used in the Operator.
CUTOFF (Cutoff)
Although the lter cuto frequency changes with the modulator’s input signal, the center frequency
changes along with the oscillator pitch, so you can use this parameter to add an oset. is is set in
semitones.
RESO (Resonance)
Emphasizes the frequencies around the cuto frequency.
When “MODE” is set to WAVE FLDR (Wave Folder)
is “folds” the waveform to create a powerful distortion eect.
GAIN
Adjusts the strength of the Wave Folder eect. Increasing this value will increase the number of times
that the waveform is folded.
OSC MIX (OSC Mix Level)
Sets the oscillator level inputted into the Wave Folder.
BIAS
Applies a DC oset to the input signal to change the harmonics.
