Saving data
Overview
Therearethreewaystosavedata;youcanwriteitinto
internalmemory,saveittodisk(ontheinternaldiskor
externalUSBstoragemedia,includingCD‐R/RW),or
transmititasaMIDIdatadump.Youcanalsouse
WAVEfilestocreateanaudioCDthatcanbeplayedby
CDpl
ayers.
Writing to internal memory

Sample data must be saved to disk
SamplingModeMultisamplesandSamplesmustbe
savedtoandloadedfromdisk;theycannotbe
writtenintointernalmemory.
Thismeansthatifyouturnthepoweroffandthenon
onceagain,butdonotre‐loadthenecessary
MultisamplesorSamplesintoSamplingMode,any
datathatusesthoseMultisamplesorSampleswillnot
soundasintended.ThiscanincludeCombinations,
Programs,DrumKits,WaveSequences,and
Multisamples.
Oncethey’vebeensavedtodisk,youcansetthe
KRONOStoautomaticallyloadthematstartup.For
details,see“Automaticallyloadingsampledata”on
page 164.
Songs must be saved to disk
AswithSamplingModedata,Songsmustbesavedto
disk;theycannotbesavedininternalmemory.
