“Destination.”

Specifythedestinationtowhichtherippedsample
willbewritten.
SelectRAMifyouwanttoripthesampleintoRAM
memory.Inthiscase,youcanalsosetSampleNo.
(L),(R)tospecifythesamplenumberthatwillbe
writte
n.Normallyyoucanleavethisunchanged.
SelectDISKifyouwanttoripthesampletomedia.
Use“DriveSelect”toselectthedrive,andusethe
OpenandUpbuttonstoselectthedirectoryin
whichthedatawillbesaved.Alsospecifyaname
fortheWAV
Efilethatwillbesaved.
12.PresstheOKbuttontoexecuteripping,orpress
theCancelbuttontocancelwithoutexecuting.
WhenyoupresstheOKbutton,the“Obey
CopyrightRules”dialogboxwillappear.
13.CarefullyreadtheCOPYRIGHTWARNINGin
theQuickStartGuide,andifyouconsenttothe
terms,presstheOKbutto
ntobeginripping.Ifyou
donotconsenttotheterms,presstheCancel
buttontocanceltheoperation.
Saving, converting to Programs, and Comparing
Saving Samples and Multisamples
AnySamplesandMultisamplesthatyoucreateor
editinSamplingModemustbesavedinDisk
mode,orthey’llgoawaywhenyouturnoffthe
power.ThisisdifferentfromProgramsand

Converting a Multisample to a Program
InpagesP0:Recording–P4:EQ/Controller,youcanuse
theConvertMSToProgrampagemenucommand.
