andresamplingwillbegin.
Whenthesamplefinishesplaying,resamplingwill
end.
Thesamplethatwascreatedbyresamplingwill
automaticallybeassignedtoSampleSelect.
Note:InSamplingmode,theP8–RoutingpageBus
SelectparameterwillautomaticallybesettoL/R
whenresamplingends.Thisprev
entsaninsert
effectfrombeingappliedinduplicatewhenyou
monitortheresultsofresamplingthroughaninsert
effect.
Ifyouwanttoapplyaninserteffectonceagain,re‐
selectIFX1.
Note:Asanalternativetoautomaticallyresampling
asdescribedabove(ResampleAuto),youcan
sim
plysamplethesoundsthatyouplayfromthe
keyboard(ResampleManual).
InSampleSelect,assignthesamplethatyouwill
resample,andsetResampletoManual.SetTrigger
toNoteOn,andsetSampleModetoStereoas
desired.Thensetthebusandeffectasdescribedin
steps
2and7,presstheSAMPLINGRECandthen
theSTART/STOPswitch,andthenpresstheC2key
tostartresampling.Whenyouwanttostop
resampling,presstheSAMPLINGSTART/STOP
switch.
Editing loops
Youcanedittheplaybackaddressatwhichthesample
willbelooped.TheP2:LoopEditpageletsyoudothe

•Youcanspecifytheloopingaddressesbyediting
Start,End,andLoopStartwhilewatchingthe
waveform.FunctionslikeZoomIn/Out,UseZero,
andGridmakeeditingea

•Youcanturnloopingon/off,adjustthetuningof
theloopplayback,applya+12dBplaybackboost,
orreversetheplayback.
•YoucanusetheTimeSlicefunctionto
automaticallydetecttheattacksofkickandsnare
notesetc.inarhythmloopsample(alooped
samplecontainingadru
mpatte
rn),and
automaticallyslicethesampleattheappropriate
locations.Thisfunctioncanautomaticallycreate
performancedata(notes)toplaythedivided
samplesattheappropriatemoments,lettingyou
playthisphraseinSequencermodeatthedesired
tempowithoutaffectingthepitchoftheindividual
notes.Youcanalsodoth
ingslikechangingthe
pitchofjustthesnaredrum,replacingitwithan
entirelydifferentsample,orchangingtheplayback
