Not enough memory to load
Meaning: When you attempted to load a .SNG file or a
standard MIDI file in Media mode, there was insufficient
free memory in the sequence memory. To solve this
problem:
• Delete other song data etc. to regain free memory.
Not enough sample memory
Meaning: There is insufficient sample memory (for the
sample parameters or sample waveform data).
• Delete some samples to increase the amount of free
memory.
• In the Media mode EX-PCM page, uninstall installed
option titles or user sample data.
Not enough session locations available
Meaning: When executing Create New Session, there is
insufficient session memory. (The number of sessions has
exceeded the maximum of 200.)
• Execute the function in a way that overwrites an
unneeded session.
Not enough song locations available
Meaning: When loading a .SNG file with Append
specified, you attempted to load more songs than can be
loaded.
• In Sequencer mode, execute Delete Song to increase the
number of songs that can be used, and then load the song
again.
NOTICE: Overdubbing with this Level setting will
attenuate the sections of previous takes by the same
amount. Use ADJ.LVL to adjust the Audio Song and avoid
uneven audio levels.
Meaning: This message is shown if the audio recorder Set
Play Level function is set to a value other than 0 dB.
• With this Level setting, if you overdub a region of the
song while playing back the previous take, the volume of
the previous take will be lowered only for the recorded
region. To avoid this problem of lowered volume, use
ADJ. LVL to adjust the audio song level.
Now writing into internal memory
Meaning: Now writing to internal memory. Never turn off
the power while this message is shown. Doing so may cause
internal data to be damaged.
R
Root directory is full
Meaning: When attempting to create a file or directory at
the root level of the media, you exceeded the maximum
number of files or folder that could be created in the root
directory of that media.
• Delete unneeded files from the root level of the media.
S
Sample length is shorter than minimum
Meaning: When using the pad sampler function, you
attempted to execute an edit that would have caused the
sample data length to be shorter than 8 samples.
• Specify the edit region etc. so that the sample data length
is 8 samples or longer.
Scanning media
Meaning: Now checking the contents of the SD card. Do not
remove the card while this message is shown.
SD card busy
Please stop the audio recorder.
Meaning: The audio recorder is accessing the SD card.
• If the audio recorder is operating, stop the audio
recorder.
SD card busy
Please wait.
Meaning:The SD card's “Automatic loading at start-up”
function or some other function is accessing the SD card or
the internal memory.
• If the SD card access indicator is blinking, wait until it
stops blinking.
Selected file/path is not correct.
Meaning: When loading a .KSF file that was saved in
divided form across multiple sets of media, the order in
which you attempted to load the files was incorrect.
• Load the .KSF files in the correct order.
Source audio song setting is empty
Meaning: When using the pad audio play function, and
executing Insert or Paste, the copy-source audio song
settings were empty.
• Execute the Copy command before you execute Insert or
Paste.
Source is empty
Meaning: No data exists in the track that you specified as
the source.
• Specify a track that contains musical data.
Meaning: The export-source audio song does not contain
data.
• Specify an audio song that has been recorded.
Source sample is empty
Meaning: When using the pad sampler function, and
executing Insert or Paste, the source sample was empty.
• Execute the Copy command before you execute Insert or
Paste.
Meaning: When using Export to KSC / Export to WAV to
export, the export-source sample does not exist.
• Select a valid sample.
Source timbre is not available
Meaning: When executing the Copy Step Seq function, the
selected copy-source is a combination or song whose
“STEP” check box is not selected. In this case, the step
sequencer’s pattern settings etc. will be copied, but the
program settings of timbre 16/track 16 will not be copied.
• Select the “STEP” check box of the copy-source
combination or song.
System warning
The internal memory has been corrupted, likely due to an
interruption of power while the system was writing/
saving data. This has been repaired and the affected Bank
has been initialized.
Meaning: A memory write procedure did not end normally,
perhaps because the power was turned off while processing
