CARACTERÍSTICAS
Esta unidad electrotérmica está diseñada para ser un contenedor de almacenamiento portátil para
bebidas y alimentos fríos. La unidad puede refrigerar hasta aproximadamente 18ºC/32ºF por debajo de la
temperatura ambiente. En modo "HOT" (caliente), puede conservar alimentos precocidos y bebidas
calientes. La unidad se calentará hasta aproximadamente 131 °F / 55 °C. La unidad está alimentada por
un sistema de tales como un vehículo, o puede ser alimentada desde un sistema de CA (corriente alterna)
de la casa.
MODO DE SELECCCIÓN
COLD (frío) : Mueva el interruptor a la posición "COLD" (frío). La unidad se enfriará y se encenderá una luz
verde.
HOT (caliente) : Mueva el interruptor a la posición "HOT" (caliente). La unidad se calentará y se encenderá
una luz roja.
OFF (apagado) : Mueva el interruptor a la posición "OFF" (apagado). La unidad se apagará.
SELECCIÓN DEL SUMINISTRO ELÉCTRICO
DC (corriente continua) : Mueva el interruptor a la posición de “DC” (corriente continua) cuando la unidad
sea utilizada con un Sistema de 12 Vcc
OFF (apagado) : Mueva el interruptor a la posición de apagado “OFF” (apagado) y la unidad quedará
apagada.
AC (corriente alterna) : Mueva el interruptor a la posición de “AC” (corriente alterna) cuando la unidad sea
utilizada con un Sistema de 110 V ~
MANTENIMIENTO
• La condensación se debe eliminar regularmente, y la helada se debe quitar cuando sea necesario. Con
la limpieza adecuada este refrigerador se puede utilizar continuamente.
• Mantenga siempre limpios los cables y el enchufe para encendedor. Las pequeñas partículas de
suciedad o tabaco en el receptáculo o en el enchufe pueden afectar el rendimiento.
• Los conductos de ventilación del motor, el ventilador y el panel de control deben ser limpiados
periódicamente. Mientras la unidad está desenchufada, limpie las paletas del ventilador y el eje del
motor utilizando un pincel para pintura u otro cepillo de cerdas suaves. Quite todo pelo, suciedad o polvo
que pudiera haberse acumulado.
• Para limpiar, pase un paño o una esponja húmedos y tibios por el interior. No utilice productos
limpiadores abrasivos o ásperos. Un jabón suave será suficiente, pero si las manchas o los olores
persisten, se puede agregar lavandina para uso en el hogar o bicarbonato de sodio a la solución de
limpieza. Deje la tapa abierta durante varias horas después de la limpieza para permitir que el interior
se seque completamente y así evitar la formación de olores en el refrigerador.
• Para almacenamiento durante largos períodos, un pequeño recipiente con bicarbonato de sodio o
carbón, colocado en el interior, eliminará olores desagradables.
AVISO IMPORTANTE
• Cuando lo utilice en el automóvil, la batería del mismo se descargará si el motor está apagado.
• Asegúrese de que el ventilador pueda rotar en todo momento.
• Se debe tener una separación de la subsistencia de 6” (15 cm) en todos los lados de la unidad para
asegurar la circulación de aire desde el ventilador.
FEATURES
This thermoelectric unit is designed to be a portable storage container for cold drinks and cold food in
"COLD" mode. The unit can chill to approximately 32°F/18°C below ambient temperature. In "HOT" mode
it can store hot pre-cooked food and drinks. The unit will heat to approximately 131°F/ 55°C. The unit is
powered by a 12V DC system such as a vehicle, or can be powered from a 110V AC system.
MODE SELECTION
COLD - Move the sliding switch to "COLD", the unit will cool and a green light will be on.
HOT - Move the sliding switch to "HOT", the unit will warm and a red light will be on.
OFF - Move the sliding switch to "OFF", the unit will be off.
POWER SUPPLY SELECTION
DC - Move the sliding switch to “DC", when the unit will be powerd from a 12V DC system.
OFF - Move the sliding switch to “STOP", the unit will be off.
AC - Move the sliding switch to “AC", when the unit will be powerd from a 110V AC system.
MAINTENANCE
• Condensation should be removed regularly, and frost should be removed as required. With care and
cleaning this cooler can be used continuously.
• Keep cords and cigarette lighter sockets clean at all times. Small tobacco or dirt particles in the socket
or the plug may affect performance.
• The motor, fan and control panel vents should be cleaned periodically. While the unit is unplugged, clean
the fan blades and motor shaft using a paint brush or other soft bristled brush. Remove all hair, dirt, or
dust that may have accumulated.
• To clean, wipe the inside with a warm damp cloth or sponge. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners.
A mild soap should be sufficient, but if stains or odours remain, household bleach or baking soda
may be added to the washing solution. Keep the lid open for several hours after cleaning to allow the
interior to thoroughly dry and to prevent odours from forming in the cooler.
• For long periods of storage, a small container of baking soda or charcoal, placed inside, will eliminate
objectionable odours.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
• When using in the car, there will be a drain on the car battery if the engine is off.
• Ensure the fan is able to rotate at all times.
• Keep 6” clearance on all sides of unit to ensure air circulation to and from the fan.
