6.1.7.1 no network mac-type
This command resets the value of MAC address to its default.

6.1.8 network bind (extension fabric only)
This command allows the user to configure the extension fabric for management
through the basic interface. I.e. SNMP, TELNET and SSH access will be possible
through the same network management VLAN and subnet that is configured on the
base fabric. It can be reset to default by configure management through extension
interface.
Warning
When the extension fabric is managed through basic interface, the following param-
eters/protocols cannot be used
network protocol must be none. No DHCP or BOOTP is supported.
No default gateway is settable using ‘network parms’. The extension fabric network
interface will share the same default gateway as the base fabric.
In addition, note the following
The IP address set using ‘network parms’ shall be in the same subnet and shall use
the same subnet mask as the network port configured on the base fabric.
Example configuration
Base Fabric:
network parms 192.168.169.22 255.255.255.0 192.168.169.1
Extension Fabric:
network protocol none
network bind base
network parms 192.168.169.23 255.255.255.0

6.1.9 show network
This command displays configuration settings associated with the switch's network
interface. The network interface is the logical interface used for in-band connectivity
with the switch via any of the switch's front panel ports. The configuration parameters
associated with the switch's network interface do not affect the configuration of the
front panel ports through which traffic is switched or routed.
