Go to OCTEON SDL linux directory:
# cd [OCTEON_SDK]/linux
Build linux kernel and rootfs file system:
# make kernel
Without debug symbols:
# make strip
The generated firmware file is located here: [OCTEON_SDK]/linux/kernel2.6/linux/vmlinux.64
5.1.5 Access To NFS Share From Cavium Embedded Linux
There is no portmap included in Cavium embedded Linux. To mount NFS share you need to disable the locking
mechanism with the -o arguments, here is an example:
# mount -o nolock [SHARE_ADDRESS] [MOUNT_POINT]
