CHECK, MAINTENANCE, CLEANING
EXTEND / RETRACT SPEAKER
ATTENTION!
Do not undervalue the weight of the load (max. 50 kg),
- Attaching and moving of the load should be done by trained
- installers.
- While moving the load hold the extension in a safe and firm way.
-Always secure the extension with the locking pin.
AFFIX THE SPEAKER TO THE STAND
6 Turn the expanding mandrel system - ring lock to the right (direction
6 OPEN) to the smallest diameter.
7 Place the speaker on the expanding mandrel system.
8 Now turn the ring lock to the left (direction CLOSE) until the
8 splints fit tightly.
ADJUST THE DIRECTION OF THE SPEAKER
OPEN ring lock 6 and adjust the speaker in the desired direction.
Re-tighten the ring lock 8 (direction CLOSE).
Involved Persons:
FI - First Installer: holds the loaded extension
SI - Second installer: handles locking knob and locking pin
Action:
FI - 9 holds the extension firmly
SI - 10 loosens the locking knob
SI - 11 pulls the head of the locking pin until the extension is able to move
FI - 12 lifts the extension in desired height;
FI - 12 NOTE: for easier finding of the pin hole this hole should be seen for a
FI - 12 NOTE: moment above the clamp
SI - 13 unhands the head of the locking pin so it´s able to latch into the hole of
SI - 13 the extension
FI - 14 lowers the extension slowly until the locking pin is latching into the hole
SI - 15 tightens the locking knob
Remove the load in reverse order.
IMPORTANT: ensure that the Second Installer immediately tightens the
IMPORTANT: clamping screw (15) in the event the extension cannot be held
IMPORTANT: securely by the First Installer.
- Careful handling of the stand maintains the ability to
- extend & retract the stand, the loadability & safety
- of the installation.
- Look for possible dangers/risks (pinching, collision, tipping)
- during maintenance work. Maintenance is always
- to be performed when the system is not under strain.
- For cleaning and maintenance purposes
- it is best to utilize a dmap cloth and a
- non abrasive cleaning solvent.
FAULT-FINDING (F) and REPAIR (R)
F: Stand totters:
F: R: Arrange even ground.
F: R: Spread legs into max. width and
F: R: tighten the locking knob.
F: Extension totters and/or is running in:
F: R: Tighten locking knobs 15
F: R: Make sure that the pin 13 is in work
F: Speaker teeters on the expanding mandrel
F: system:
F: R: Re-tighten the ring lock
F: R: Check speaker mounting adapter
F: R: (max. ø 36 mm)
F: Speaker is difficult to adjust
F: R: Lift the speaker up a bit during the adjustment
F: R: Loosen ring lock 6 a little more
