Choosing the language
When you first turn the camera on, the language
setting screen appears, prompting you to choose
a language for displayed information on the LCD
monitor. Follow the steps below to set the
language.
1. Select the language that you require by using
the / button.
2. Press the ENTER button to confirm.
• The language setting will be saved even if the camera
is turned off.
NOTE
Setting the date and time
The date/time setting screen will pop up in either of the following situations:
 when the camera is first turned on (after setting the language)
 when the camera is turned on again after removing the batteries/AC power
adapter and then re-installing the batteries/AC power adapter
When the date and time setting screen appears, you can follow the steps below to
set the date and time if necessary or skip this setting by pressing the ENTER
button repeatedly.
1. Enter the values of the year, month, day and time fields by using the / / /
button. Press the ENTER button after each field is set.
 To increase the value, press the / button.
 To decrease the value, press the / button.
