3. When the skew is not up to the standards, open
the open/close cover [1] and remove the 2 cov-
ers [2].
4. Loosen the hexagon nut [3], and rotate the set
screw[4] to adjust the clearance of the guide
plate.
• A: Loosen the hexagon nut [3] at the rear and
rotate the set screw [4] clockwise.
• B: Loosen the hexagon nut [3] at the front and
rotate the set screw [4] clockwise.
Note:
• Since there is the possibility of jamming, be sure
not make the clearance of the guide plate nar-
rower than the standard value. (Be sure not to
tighten the hexagon nut [3].)
• The reference value of the clearance of the guide
plate should be determined based on the position
where the difference in level [A] of the second
stage of the clearance reference block [5]
becomes flush with the metal frame surface [B].
5. Repeat the steps 1 to 4 until the original skew
gets within the standard value.
