8Importing
This chapter provides explanations on importing a document file into
PageScope Workware without importing files or folders. The image can be
imported using a TWAIN device, from the FTP server, from a mail server,
or from a monitored folder.
8.1 Importing an Image From a TWAIN Device
This chapter provides explanations on importing an image using a TWAIN
device. The imported image can also be saved in various formats.
In order to use this function, a TWAIN device (such as a scanner or digital
camera) must be connected to the computer and the appropriate device
driver must be installed on the computer.
Specifying the TWAIN Device
Before an image can be imported into PageScope Workware, the TWAIN
device being used must be selected. The default setting is the specified
TWAIN device.
Follow the procedure described below to select the TWAIN device.
1 On the [File] menu, click [Select Source].
The “Select Source” dialog box appears.
2 In the Sources list, click the TWAIN device to be used.
3 Click the [Select] button.
The TWAIN device that will be used is selected.
