To rotate the image
Perform the operation described below to rotate the image.
§ On the [Image] menu, point to [Rotate], and then click [90 (Right)], [90
(Left)] or [180].
The image in the display area is rotated.
To specify skew adjustment
The skew of the image file can be enhanced using one of three methods:
auto deskew, deskew by line or deskew by angle.
1 On the [Image] menu, click [Deskew], and then select the desired
enhancement method.
H To automatically enhance the skew, click [Auto].
H If [By Line] is selected, the pointer changes so that a line can be
drawn.
H If [By Angle] is selected, the “Deskew” dialog box appears.
2 Specify the desired settings.
H If [By Line] was selected, drag the pointer in the display area to
draw a line to indicate the reference line.
H If [By Angle] was selected, select either Left Rotate or Right
Rotate, and then type or select the rotation angle in the Rotate
box.
3 The skew is enhanced.
H If [By Line] was selected, click the [OK] button in the confirmation
message that appeared when the line was drawn.
H If [By Angle] was selected, click the [OK] button.
The skew of the image in the display area is enhanced as specified.
