Extracting Text for a File Content Search
PageScope Workware can search for a document file containing a certain
string of text without actually opening the file. In order to do this, the text
must be extracted for a file content search. The procedure to do this is
described below.
1 In File area, select the file whose text is to be extracted for a file
content search.
2 On the [Document] menu or on the menu that appears after right-
clicking the selected file, click [Create Data for Full Text Search].
The text is extracted for a file content search.

Tip
A text file for a file content search can be extracted when an image is
imported with a TWAIN device. For details, refer to “Importing an
Image From a TWAIN Device” on page 8-1.
