9-9 Printing from applications
Once you have installed the PCL printer driver or PostScript printer driver and
Printer Board PostScript Printer Description file (PPD), you can specify print settings.
You can also change settings for a particular job when you print it to the Printer Board.
Before printing, make sure that the correct print options are set.
To print from Windows NT 4.0 applications over a network, you must set up TCP/IP
and lpr printing. Alternatively, you can print from Windows NT 4.0 via SMB
printing. For information about setting up TCP/IP and SMB printing, see Chapter 5.
TO SET PRINT OPTIONS AND PRINT WITH THE PCL PRINTER
DRIVER FROM WINDOWS NT 4.0:
1. Double-click the My Computer icon.
2. Double-click the Printers icon.
3. Select the icon for the Printer Board and choose Properties from the File menu.
4. Click the Setup tab.
5. Specify the appropriate settings for the print job.
