Message Meaning

Mirror Carriage Error The mirror carriage of your machine has become

inoperable.

•Call your authorized dealer.

Use FBS Glass You tried to enlarge the documents when scan-

ning from the ADF.

•Set the documents on the platen glass.

Box In Use You tried to erase a scan box which contains at

least one document.

You tried to erase a file while transferring.

•Erase the document(s), then try again.

•After transfer is finished, try again.

Document Full You tried to store a document into a scan box, but

the scan box has reached its capacity (10 docu-

ments).

•Delete documents stored in scan boxes until the

scan box will let you proceed.

Invalid I.D. Code The scan box’s

. code you entered isn’t valid.

Call For Service The scanner lamp is dim or inoperable.

•Make repeated copies to help evaporate any

internal moisture. If that doesn’t resolve the

problem, call your authorized dealer.

Note: If you leave the machine without pressing any key for more than 60 sec-

onds, it will erase all pages from memory stored during this operation and

the machine will return to the standby mode.
