■ Limited Use
When a problem occurs with FK-101 facsimile functions, the service Call for service screen
is displayed, the “Limited use with auto button” message is displayed. When this message
is displayed, operation of the FK-101 is limited to the copy functions and the fax functions
are switched off. Contact your service representative if you need to use this function.
[Procedure]
1. Confirm that the following menu is displayed.
[NOTE]
In the case of a problem that allows limited use, a record code is not displayed on
the call for service screen.
Malfunction in fax board.
Limited use available with auto button.
2. Press the Auto RESET button.
Turn the power off and then back on again.
3. Temporarily turn off the power switch.
4. Turn the switch back on again.
Fax functions are switched off and the FK-101 can be used while limiting
operation to copy functions only.
