7.6 Erasing Edges (“Frame Erase” Function)
Frames can be erased around copies that you make.
To set the “Frame Erase” function
1 Position the document(s) to be copied. (Refer to page 5-1 for more
detail.)
2 Select the desired color mode. (Refer to page 3-19 for more detail.)
3 Touch [Auxiliary].
The Auxiliary screen appears.
4 Touch [Frame Erase].
5 Touch and to specify the
width that is to be erased.

Is an enlarged or reduced copy
being made?
➜ The specified width of the area
to be erased is the width before
copying. Therefore, be careful
when selecting this setting while
making enlarged or reduced
copies.
Example) When using the
“Frame Erase” function while
copying an A3-size document
with a zoom ratio of “× 0.500”
