To select the document type before copying

1 Position the document(s) to be copied. (Refer to page 5-1 for more

details.)

2 Select the desired color mode. (Refer to page 3-19 for more details.)

3 Make sure that the Basic screen is

displayed, and then touch [Original/

Density].

4 Select the Original Image Type that

best describes your document.

5 Specify any other necessary settings.

❍ Paper (Refer to page 6-4 for more details.)

❍ Zoom (Refer to page 6-14 for more details.)

❍ Density (Refer to page 6-20 for more details.)

6 Using the keypad, enter the number of copies you wish to make, and

then press the [Start] key.
