The type of original can be specified.

There are ten document types.

G Text combined with images (“Text&Photo” setting)

G Photographs (“Photo Image” setting)

G Printed photos (“Printed Image” setting)

G Text only (“Text” setting)

G Maps (“Map” setting)

G Copies (“Copied Image” setting)

G Copies with a specific background density (“Background” parameter of the

“Density” function)

G Copies with a specific density (“Density” parameter of the “Density” function)

G Copies with a glossy finish (“Glossy Mode” setting)

G Originals that cause moire patterns (“Screen Pattern” settings)
