Box Password Setting
Sets the item for the password length.
• Box password setting Sets the password length for the Document Box and documents.
8 digits fix / 1-8 digit(s)*
The * mark indicates the default values available when you purchase the machine.
The Box password setting function is used when setting the number of digits of a password
for a box or document.
8 digits fix: Password is fixed to 8 digits.
1-8 digit(s): Password can be set in 8 digits or less.
Boxes and documents for which a password of 7 digits or less has been set cannot be used
after 8 digits fix is selected.
Change the password of less than 7 digits to 8 digits before selecting 8 digits fix.
1. Open the Box setting screen (See "Displaying the Box pass-
word setting"(p.5-3)).
2. Press 8 digits fix or 1-8 digit(s) in Box password setting.
3. Press OK.
To exit settings, press CANCEL.
