2. Use the standard Windows controls on the dialog to select the target location for the docu-
ment to be saved. This may be any network location to which you have access.

File Name:
field - Use the original default file name or enter a new file name in this field.
Note:
This field will not be enabled if multiple documents are being saved from the Doc-
ument Manager.

Save Range:
radio buttons - If the document is a multi-page document, you may save all
of the pages or a range of pages from the document. Select one of the following:
All
Saves all pages in the document.
Pages
Saves a range of pages. You must enter the page num-
bers of the pages to be saved.
Note:
This field will not
be enabled if multiple documents are being saved from
the Document Manager.
Selection
Saves only the document page currently selected in the
viewer.
Note:
This field will not be enabled if multiple
documents are being saved from the Document Man-
ager.

button (File type Conversion) - Click this button if the document will be con-
verted and saved in another file format. The following additional fields will be displayed
on the dialog.
Enter the required information.
Save as Type:
list This dropdown list contains the file types to which the
document may be converted. The available selections
are TIF, JPG, or PDF.
Colors:
list This dropdown list contains the color resolution that is
available for the selected file type. For a TIF or PDF
file type, monochrome (1-bit) or color (8&24-bit) con-
versions are available. For a JPG file type, only the
color conversion is available.
Subfile Type:
list This dropdown list contains additional format parame-
ters that change according to the selected file type. For
a TIF or PDF file type, a file compression may be spec-
ified.
