AUTO LF
If this function is on, printer would advance the paper one line automatically after
receiving every carriage return instruction.
LOADING
Specify the wait time between cut sheet is put into the paper guide and it is fed into
the printer. Choose to wait specify time or press LF/FF key to feed paper.
EJECT Specify paper eject direction when loading paper from front.
PIN SWITCH
After selecting this function on, printer would switch different pins to print table line
automatically.
MARGIN DETECT
After selecting this function on, printer would detect the paper edge automatically
after feeding paper, and start to print from the position according to the left margin
setting.
SKEW DETECT
After selecting this function on, printer would auto detect paper skew when feeding
cut sheets. If the slant degree is beyond the set parameter, printer would eject
paper automatically.
BAUD RATE Specify the printer serial data transfer rate.
PARITY Specify the parity bit for serial data transfer.
DATA BITS Specify the serial data bits.
STOP BITS Specify the serial data transfer stop bit.
PROTOCOL
Specify the protocol of printer serial data transfer as software control (XON/XOFF)
or hardware control (DTR).
Select the broken pin. Printer would automatically replace it with other pin to print.
4.7 Using the Self- Test Functions
 Pin Test
Press the ONLINE key and LOAD/EJECT key while turning on the printer. It will run the Pin Test when
paper is in. Contrarily, it will run the Aging Test when paper out.
 ASCII Test Mode
Continuous printing of ASCII pattern is performed by turning power on while pressing the ONLINE key.
Pressing the ONLINE key can stop printing, and reboot the printer to exit ASCII test mode.
 Hex Dump Mode
Turn power on while pressing the LOAD/EJECT key, which causes the printer to enter Hex Dump mode.
In this mode, the data which are sent from computer will print with Hex mode. Pressing the ONLINE key
can stop printing, and reboot the printer to exit Hex Dump mode.
The results of the hex dump printing will be shown as follows.
