Place nylon washers, flat washer and retaining nut onto
ball lever. Insert ball lever assembly into drain lever hole
and tighten retaining nut.
Check that ball lever points to back of lavatory. Tighten
locknut on drain body. Remove excess putty.
NOTE: Do not reposition drain after locknut is tightened.

Locknut
Thread thumb screw into connecting link. Slide one end
of “V” -clip onto ball lever rod. Slide connecting link onto
ball lever rod with thumb screw facing rear of lavatory.
Squeeze other end of “V” -clip, aligning hole with ball lever
rod. Move connecting link to proper position by squeezing
“V” -clip and sliding along ball lever rod.
Push ball lever rod down into open position. Insert stopper
into drain body.

With drain in open position, slide lift rod into hole in con-
necting link. Position lift rod so that lift rod knob is against
lift rod tube, then tighten thumb screw.
