Casseroles, Gratins

Curd cheese and fruit casserole
»can also be served as a main dish«
Ingredients:
50 g butter / margarine
40 g suggar or
3 tablespoons of honey
3 eggs, egg white/yolk
separation
2 tablespoons of Lemon
juice
500 g low fat curd cheese
3 tablespoons of semolina
1 knife point baking soda
25 g chopped almonds
500 g fruits
(optionally prunes,
apricots, peaches)
Tableware:
Preparation:
1. Allow the canned fruit to drip o. Wash fresh fruit, peel,
cut into small pieces, sprinkle lemon juice.
2. Separate the eggs, and beat egg whites until sti. Stir
foam mass of butter, sugar or honey and egg yolk. Fold in
the beaten egg whites the curd cheese, semolina, baking
powder.
3. Grease the casserole dish with butter or margarine, put
in the fruits first and pour over the casserole mass. Finally,
sprinkle the chopped almonds over it and cook.
} Grill with microwave, high level, 14 - 16 min. or
} Microwave, high level, 15 - 17 min. + grill 5 - 10 min.
4. Allow to simmer for 5 min. in the turned o oven before
serving.

Sweet bread casserole with cherries
»popular with children«
Ingredients:
2500 g fresh cherries
or 350 g out of the jar
3 wholemeal rolls or
5 - 6 toasted slices of bread
25 g chopped nuts
500 ml milk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 - 2 tablespoons of honey
or
suggar
1 tablespoon of butter
Tableware:
Preparation:
1. Allow the cherries from a glass to drip o. Wash and stone
fresh cherries.
2. Put slices of rolls or bread like a fan in a casserole dish.
Put cherries and chopped nuts in between.
3. Whisk milk, eggs, honey or sugar, cinnamon and pour over
the bread slices. Sprinkle butter flakes on top and cook.
} Microwave, max level, 14 - 15 min.
} Grill with microwave, high level, 16 - 18 min.
4. Leave in the turned o oven for 5 min. before serving.
