Tomato minced meat sauce
»goes well with spaghetti«
Ingredients:
1 large onion
1 garlic clove
1 carrot
1 pc. of celery root
3 tbsp. of olive oil
200 g minced meat
of veal
2 to 3 tbsp. Tomato paste
250 mL water
Salt, pepper
1 pinch of sugar
Paprika, basil
Tableware:
Preparation:
1. Wash and clean the vegetables. Dice the onion, the garlic
clove, the carrot, and the celery into very small cubes.
2. Lightly steam the finely diced vegetables in olive oil.
} Microwave oven max. setting, 3 to 5 min
3. Mix the minced meat, the tomato paste, the spices, and
the liquid with the vegetables and continue steaming while
covered. Stir several times.
} Microwave oven max. setting, 8 to 12 min
4. Season before serving. Serve with grated Parmesan as
desired.

Meat balls in tomato sauce
»spicy«
Ingredients:
500 g tomato puree
1 branch of thyme
1 tsp. of sugar
2 tbsp. of olive oil
1 dried chili pepper
250 g minced beef
1 onion
1 garlic clove
1 egg
2 tbsp. of breadcrumbs,
Salt, pepper
1 pinch of cayenne pepper
Tableware:
Preparation:
1. Heat the tomato puree with thyme, chili pepper, sugar,
and olive oil.
} Microwave oven max. setting, 5 to 6 min
2. Mix the minced meat with the finely chopped onions,
garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, and spices to a meat dough.
Season to taste and shape with moistened hands to walnut-
sized balls.
3. Place the balls into the hot sauce and cook until done.
} Microwave oven max. setting, 9 to 11 min
4. Let it stew for approx. 5 min. Serve with white bread.
