LOW VOLTAGE EASY KIT
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: The lights included in this kit operate on 24V low voltage. They can only be
operated with the included transformer. 120V supply power should only be connected to the
transformer as directed in these instructions. DO NOT CONNECT MORE THAN 4 LIGHTS TO
EACH TRANSFORMER. MINIMUM 2 LIGHTS MUST BE CONNECTED TO EACH
TRASNFORMER.
WARNING: The lights and transformer provided in the Easy Kit are not compatible with other
LED lights or transformers. Do not connect other lights to the system.
WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK
• Turn off electrical power at fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring fixture to the power
supply.
• Turn off the power when you perform any maintenance.
• Verify that supply voltage is correct by comparing it with the transformer label information.
• Make all electrical and grounded connections in accordance with the National Electrical Code
and any applicable local code requirements.
All wiring connections should be capped with UL approved wire connectors.
CAUTION: RISK OF INJURY
• Wear gloves and safety glasses at all times when removing luminaire from carton, installing,
servicing or performing maintenance.
Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on.
Account for small parts and destroy packing material, as these may be hazardous to children.
WARNING: RISK OF BURN
Allow fixture to cool before handling. Do not touch enclosure or light source.
• Do not exceed maximum wattage marked on luminaire label.
WARNING: The quick connector contacts have sharp edges for piercing the main low
voltage cable. To avoid injury, do not touch the metal contacts.

FIXTURE PACKING LIST
Wirenuts (3)
Transformer box/integrated j-box (1)
35' 18AWG low voltage cable (1)
Fixture quick connectors (4)
LED low voltage downlights (4)
4. Run the low voltage cable in the ceiling so that it is above each light cutout.
Fixture Installation
5. Connect all lights to the low voltage cable using the quick connectors on each light.See Fig.5
The quick connector allows for fast and easy installation to the low voltage cable.
Place the quick connector on opposite sides of the low voltage cable where the fixture will be
located. See Fig. 5
Align and fit the low voltage cable vertically in the slot of the connector.
Press the connector together until fully seated and locked around the cable. The pre-set prongs
will pierce the cable insulation and establish contact with the electrical wire inside.
6. Flip up and squeeze the spring-loaded clips above the fixture (see Fig. 6) and insert the fixture into
the hole. When the clips reach the hole edge, slowly release them and push up the fixture until both
clips flip down onto the ceiling surface. See Fig. 6
7. Repeat steps 5-6 to complete the rest of the fixtures (4 lights maximum on each transformer).
8. Insert the 120V supply cable through the knockout in the side of the j-box. (See Fig. 7Push
supply cable through the knockout. Strip black and white wire leads with wire strippers to
expose 3/8"-7/16" of bare metal (See Fig. 7).
9. Connect supply (house) wires to fixture wires by twisting together wires in a clockwise direction
with the provided wirenuts: white to white; black to black; and green to green or bare copper ground
wire. (See Fig. 8
Once all wiring connections have been made, replace the j-box cover by tightening the screw.
See Fig. 9

IINSTALLATION OF KIT
1. Remove fixture from the carton and check for any shipping damage.
Note:TURN OFF POWER AT CIRCUIT BREAKER BOX!
WIRING AND FIXTURE OPERATION CAUTION:
For supply connections use wires rated for at least 75°C(167°F)
2. Determine the layout of the 4 lights as well as where the 120V supply connection will be made to
the transformer box. Ensure there is adequate low voltage cable for the chosen layout and that there
are no ceiling obstructions that will affect light placement. Cut a 5” diameter circular opening in
mounting surface using a hole saw or other method. Repeat for all lights.
See Fig. 1
Note:
This fixture is an IC type fixture. It may come in direct contact and be completely covered with
thermal insulation that has an R-value of 3.85 or less. Some insulation types that meet this
requirement are blanket batting/roll and blown-in loose fill. Do not install in a ceiling with spray foam
type insulation.
3. Loosen the screw to open the j-box cover on the transformer box. See Fig. 2
To remove knockouts: Choose one of the four knockouts for the 120V supply connection
Place standard screwdriver on edge of circle and gently strike with hammer. Grip edge with pliers
and flex back and forth until removed.
(See Fig. 2)
Once the transformer box has been wired to the supply power source, place it in the ceiling in close
proximity to the first light (See Fig. 3). Mount the transformer box to a suitable stud in the ceiling if
local code requires (mounting screws not included). See Fig. 4
