the

tions
carefully
and
become thoroughly famili

instrument,
taking
special care
to

earn
how
to
operate
the
shutter.
Work
it
for
both
time
a
nd
in-
stanta
neou
sexposures
severa
l
times
before
threading
up
t he film.
A
most
imp
orta
nt
thing
to
be
remembered
is
that
no
white
l
ight
(including gas
or
l
amp
light) should
reach
the
film for a fractional
part
of a second until
it
has been developed
and
fix
ed
. Therefore,
extreme
care
must
be used
to
keep
the
duplex
paper
wound
tightly
on
the
spool so
as
to
protect
the
fi
lm while
loading
and
unl
oading
the
K
odak
.
It
is
best
to
sel
ect
some place where
the
l
ight
is
not
too
bright,
to
ins
ur
e
safety.
Loading
the
Kodak
The
fil
m for
the
Stereo
Kod
ak, Model
No.1,
is
known as
No.2
Bu
ll
s-
Eye
cartridge,
size 3 Y2x3
Y2,
No. 101,
and
is
put
up in light-proof
cartridges
so
that
the
camera
can
be l
oaded
and unloaded in
day-
li
ght.
It
is b
est
that
this
be
done
in a s
ubdu
ed light,
not
in b
ri
g
ht
sun
li
ght.
After
the
seal is broken,
it
must
be borne in mind
that
care
must
be
taken
to
keep
the
dup
lex
paper
tight,
otherwise
it
may
slip
and
loosen sufficiently
to
fog
the
fi
lm.
