opened and hut quick enough LO avoid
over-exposure.
With Liglzt Clouds-From 34 to I second
will be sufficient.
With Heavy GOltds-From 2 to 3 seconds
will be required.
The above is calculated for the same
hours a mentioned on page 30 and for
object in the open air. For other hour
and for objects in the shadow, under por-
ches, or under trees, no accurate directions
can be given; experience only can teach
the proper expo ure to give.
T/ze Stops.-On opening the front of the
camera a pivoted disk may be seen clo e
behind the shutter, which in the ingle
lens Kodets has three opening, and in
the double lens four openings, of dif-
ferent sizes. This disk can be revolved
so as to bring either opening in the center
of the lens. These openings hould be
