a. An extra spool of 5 inch Kodet Film.
b. An extra Reel, (5 inch Kodet l{eel).*
c. An Eastman Orange Candle Lamp.
d. A dark room having a shelf or table .
• X OTE: The e xtra reel does not accompany the pool,
unless o rd e red. While not an a tual nece,sity, it is a con-
venien ce and saves unwinding the exp osed film from the
old reel, and the co nsequent liability of fogging the film
by exp o sure to white light. The exposures should be sent
to the facto ry on the f.rst red The reel will be returned
with the prints and can be used repeatedly. Hence it is
ne e
ssary to have o nly as many extra reels as it is desired
to s en d spo ols at one time to the fact o ry for development.
By a dark room is meant one that is
wholly
dark-not a ray of light in it.

night almost anywhere. The reason a
dark room is required is that the film is
extremely sen itive to white light, either
daylight or lamplight, anti would be spot/ed
