PORTRAIT.
Place

For
a
bust
picture
the
camera
should
be
6 feet from
the
figure;
for
a
three-quarter
figure 8 feet
and
for a full figure

feet.

should form a
contrast
with
the
sitter.

In making portraits,

the

is

feet

the

the
lens
the

ght
adm
itt

so
much
reduced
th
at
time exposures
out
of
doors
may
be
made
th
e
same
as
interiors
but
the
expos
ur
e
must
be
much
shorter.
