The
RANGE
FINDER
can
be used
only
for subjects
that
are
not
moving.
For
critical focusing use
the
focusing
knob
located
next
to
the
FOCUSING
COLLAR.
The
RANGE
FINDER
can
also be used
with
the
camera
held
vertically.
When
it
is
used
in
this
position, focus
on
some
horizontal line
in
the
sub
ject.
When
the
line
is
continuous
the
Kodak
is
in focus.
Another
method
of using
the
RANGE
FINDER
is
to
set
the
lens for
the
distance desired.
This
is
done
by
turning
the
FOCUSING
COLLAR
until
this distance
is
at
the
black
index
on
the
FOCUSING
SCALE.
While
looking
through
the
eyepiece of
the
RANGE
FINDER,
move
back
or
forth
until
a
vertical
line in
the
sub-
ject
appears
continuous
in
the
upper
and
low
er
areas
of the finder.
