Place
the roll
of
film in the e
nd
oppos
i te
the reel,
so
that
when
the
paper
is
drawn
off
the spoo
l,
the
colored side of
th
e
paper
will
be
up
,
and
the black side will be
towards
the
lens.
Enga
ge
the hole in the spool,
with
the spool pin
on
th
e side
of
the
camera
wi
th
the
tripod
socket.
Push
the
spool
against
this pin,
which
will
then
spring
out,
and
permit
the
other
pin to
engage
with
the
oppos
it
e hole in the spoo
l.
R emove
the
band
tha
t holds
th
e e
nd
of
the protective
pap
er
and
pa
ss
the
paper
over
the
rollers.
Thread
the
paper
through
the
longer
opening
of
the
slit in
the
reel as far as
it
will go.
Draw
th
e
paper
taut
, giving a few
turns
to the w
indin
g knob.
The
pap
er
must
dr
aw
straight.
Close the
back
an
d push
down
the
latch,
to lock
th
e back.
Push
the
knob
of the slide
covering
the
red
window
towards
the
cen ter
of
the
ca
mera.
