If
the
prints
are too
light
when
washed,
it
will
be
evident
that
the
printing
was
stopped
too
soon;
and, if too
dark,
vice versa.
The
image,
before
the
picture
is washed, is
quite
indistinct,
and
two
or
three trials will
be
required
to
enable
the
novice to
judge
how far to
carry
the
prints;
but
when
learned
with
one
negative
it will
be
simple with all.
,
If
the
Kodaker
wants
silver
prints
from his negatives,
he
has simply
to
substitute
Eastman's
sensitized
paper
for
the
ferro-prussiate
paper.
Directions
for
printing
and
toning
accompany
the
paper.
Or,
he
can
send
his negatives to
the
factory
by
mail where
they
will
be
printed,
mounted
and
burnished
in a
superior
manner,
and
returned
at
a very
moderate
cost.
