dark

room is

meant

one

that

is wholly da

light in it.

Such

a room

can

easily

be

secured

at

night

almost

anywhere.

The

reason a

dark

room is

required

is

that

the

film is extremely sensitive

to

white light;

either

daylight

or

lamplight,

and

would

be

spoiled

exposed

to

£t

even for a fraction

of

a second,

while being removed from

the

Kodak.
