Feed Module and Separation Roller Guidelines for the i800 Series Scanners Consumable Kits
The following table provides a guideline of how often to change the feed module, separation roller, pre-
separation pad and tires. Extra tires are provided in the event one is damaged when replacing tires.
• Feed module and separation roller tires: tire life will vary depending upon paper types, environment
and cleanliness. Nominal tire life is approximately 250,000 pages; results will vary. Degradation of
feeder performance, multiple feeds, stoppages, etc. indicate a need to change tires. Change all tires on
the feed module and separation roller at the same time.
• Feed module and separation roller kit: it is recommended that you install a new feed module and
separation roller approximately every 7
th
tire change. Install a new feed module and separation roller at
the same time.
•
Pre-separation Pad: change each time you change the feed module, separation roller or tires.
