Sharing highlighted text
You can publish passages from your book to your Facebook wall, or your Facebook status.
Note: You must have a Facebook account to share highlights.
To share a highlighted passage on Facebook:
Press and hold a word in the text you want to highlight. 1.
Tap Annotate or Highlight. 2.
Highlight the text: 3.
• Tap and hold the icon to move to the general area of where you want to
highlight.
• Drag the and icons to select the text.
Tap Highlight. 4.
Tap and hold the highlighted text, then tap Share to Facebook. 5.
Tap Post to Wall to post the highlight on your Facebook wall, or tap Set Status to post 6.

If you havenʼt logged into Facebook, a Facebook log in window will appear and you will be 7.
prompted to log in. Log in to Facebook to post the highlight to your Facebook Wall or
Facebook Status.
Tap Share to post your message to the wall or set your status. 8.
Looking up definitions
Your Kobo Vox has a dictionary that you can use to search for unfamiliar words. You can search
the dictionary any time youʼre reading.
To find a definition while reading:
Tap and hold the word youʼd like to find in the dictionary. 1.
Tap Dictionary Look Up. 2.
Highlight the text: 3.
• Tap and hold the icon to move to the general area of where you want to
highlight.
• Drag the and icons to select the text.
As you highlight the text, the definition will appear at the bottom half of the screen.
Note: If the dictionary cannot find your word, it will offer to search the word online using Google.
Your web browser will open if you search for a word using Google. To go back to reading, tap the
Home button on your Kobo Vox, then tap the cover of your currently read book.
