OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

5. LED Worklights

The tool has 2 built-in worklights (I), located

around the collet; these provide high visibility of the

workpiece when cutting. These lights are always

“on” when the tool is turned on.

6. Vacuum Adaptor

The tool is equipped with a vacuum adaptor

(K), which is sized to accept a 1-1/4 in. (3.2 cm)

vacuum-hose adaptor (not included).

To attach the adaptor onto the xed base (C),

position and then secure it to the xed base with

the knob.

7. ON/OFF Switch

a. To turn the tool ON, push the ON/OFF switch

(A) to the “I” position for “ON”.

b. To turn it OFF, push the ON/OFF switch to the

“O” position for “OFF”.

Always hold the tool and cutter bit away from the

workpiece when turning on the switch.

WARNING

• Only allow the tool and cutter bit to come into

contact with the workpiece after it has reached

full speed.

• Only remove the tool and cutter bit from

the workpiece after turning the it “OFF”

(“O”position), and after the cutter bit comes to a

complete stop.

Soft Start Feature

The soft-start feature minimizes torque twist, which is customary in larger router motors, by

limiting the speed at which the motor starts. This increases the life of the motor.
